Grass Valley Yoga Community Blessing
and Sacred Ceremony

Please join Whitney and Grace as we enter the wisdom of the heart to create community intention and make a ceremonial offering to energetically align the dynamics of love, right thinking and right action for each one of us personally and as community at Grass Valley Yoga.
This very special event will be led by Shaman Lisa Smith, a modern day Shaman who is grounded in the art of spiritual and shamanic healing. Natures gift to us at Summer Solstice is expanded light.
Grace and I chose this date as spiritually supportive and significant for this transition. We will be holding a very special event on June 20 to honor, celebrate and welcome this light into our own lives.

Restorative Yoga Nidra Workshop

Restorative Yoga is where all yoga postures are fully supported with the use of blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps to create a sense of ease, well being and calmness. Each posture is selected for its ability to quiet the mind and rest the entire body giving you a deep rejuvenating experience. Restorative yoga can be practiced by everyone, regardless of age or experience, and can be extremely beneficial: To quiet the mind ~ Deeply relax the body ~ Allow healing to occur ~ To balance the extraordinary stresses of life.
Yoga Nidra is the art of conscious deep relaxation. During the practice, the body is still, but the mind is awake as an active participant in the relaxation process known as “yoga sleep”. In this relaxation, all burdens melt away as you attain a blissful state of awareness much more rejuvenating than ordinary sleep. It is a powerful healing practice for body, mind, and consciousness. It restores the proper flow of energy throughout the body and mind, allowing the systems of the body to function properly.

Sacred Sound Healing Workshop

Join us for a night of sacred sound and vibrational healing at Grass Valley yoga! Renew your physical body, mind, and energy field as crystalline frequencies wash over you. Let go into waves of sound intended to soothe you and move your entire system through stages of release, expansion, activation, and integration.
Sound Healing is one of the oldest forms of healing known to man and offers a drug free way to treat pain and illness and tune ourselves to the Divine. The therapeutic application of sound frequencies influence both the body and mind, helping us to return to a state of harmony and health. Scott Adam will offer a solo journey into sound. Bringing many aspects of vibrations for healing. Through crystal bowls, guitar, hand pan, chimes and vocalizations Scott will create a landscape of sound for the soul to play and heal.
Suggested Donation $20
Please care for yourself well before coming and bring water to integrate the sounds you’ll be experiencing throughout the session. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a pillow or blanket if you wish to lie down.
