This yoga class is designed especially for moms. Share the challenges and joys of motherhood and enjoy a poetic blend of mindfulness with a rejuvenating yoga flow. It's true that motherhood is the hardest job you'll ever love. In this class, there will be time for check-in and emotional support as well as an opportunity to release stress held in the body so that you can have more presence, joy and meaningful connection in all of your relationships and interactions. Moms of all ages and stages are welcome.
Grace has been leading circles of support for moms for over 10 years. She is the founder of Mindful Mama Yoga and Mama Goddess Living. In 2005, Grace partnered with Blossom Birth in Palo Alto and UC Stanislaus in writing the curriculum and teaching a research pilot on the effects of mindfulness and yoga on pre- and post-natal anxiety and depression.
She is a firm believer that what moms need most is understanding and collaboration and is dedicated to helping moms connect with the goddess within during the wildest ride of their life - raising kids.
Grace has a blended family with five kids total. She lives in Grass Valley with her husband, two kids, two dogs, two cats and a guinea pig.
